CLIENT

Manages connection naming and library metadata and reports client identity.

Connections · Example verified

Syntax covered here

CLIENT SETNAME name | CLIENT GETNAME | CLIENT ID | CLIENT SETINFO LIB-NAME name

SETNAME/GETNAME, ID and SETINFO LIB-NAME are verified. CLIENT TRACKING ON is rejected, so client-side caching integrations must account for that gap.

Tested example & replies

Requests below run in order against an empty database. Each connection authenticates with the fixture password first. Quoted values are strings; null is a nil reply; arrays preserve RESP order.
