Authenticates the connection using the configured password.

AUTH password

The case uses a throwaway password configured with --requirepass; unauthenticated access and an incorrect password are rejected. General ACL user authentication is not established.

Tested example & replies

Requests below run in order against an empty database. Each connection authenticates with the fixture password first. Quoted values are strings; null is a nil reply; arrays preserve RESP order.
